Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using GameCraft's services, website, and educational programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily access GameCraft's materials for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
- Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on GameCraft's platforms
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
3. Educational Services
3.1 Course Enrollment
Enrollment in GameCraft courses is subject to availability and our admission requirements. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or terminate a student's participation for any reason including but not limited to non-payment, disruptive behavior, or violation of our code of conduct.
3.2 Payment Terms
Course fees must be paid in full before the start of classes unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are non-refundable except as specified in our refund policy.
3.3 Refund Policy
Full refunds are available if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the course start date. Partial refunds (50%) are available if cancellation occurs 7-14 days before the start date. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date or after the course has begun.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Course Materials
All course materials, including but not limited to video lectures, written materials, code examples, and project templates, are the intellectual property of GameCraft and are protected by copyright laws.
4.2 Student Work
Students retain ownership of games and projects they create during the course. However, GameCraft reserves the right to use student work for promotional and educational purposes with proper attribution.
5. Code of Conduct
All students and participants must:
- Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
- Arrive punctually to all scheduled sessions
- Complete assignments and projects within specified deadlines
- Not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
- Respect the learning environment and studio facilities
6. Technology Requirements
Students are responsible for ensuring their computer systems meet the minimum requirements for running Unity, Unreal Engine, and other required software. GameCraft is not responsible for technical issues arising from inadequate hardware or software configurations.
7. Disclaimer
The materials on GameCraft's website and in our courses are provided on an 'as is' basis. GameCraft makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
8. Limitations
In no event shall GameCraft or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use GameCraft's materials or services, even if GameCraft or its authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
9. Job Placement
While GameCraft provides career support and job placement assistance, we do not guarantee employment upon course completion. Success in securing employment depends on various factors including market conditions, individual performance, and personal effort.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
GameCraft collects and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
11. Modifications
GameCraft may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using our services, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that province.
